HEAVY BAG WO#2
Thu Jul 10, 2003 12:31 pm

I posted the following July 1 but have not yet received a response. I figured that I would at least get something from one of the administrators. This forum was one of the main reasons I went with Crosstrainer, so a response would help me keep the faith.
Anyone out there have a heavy bag work out? I do bag, step, and cable crunch rounds, what is the best way to use Crosstrainer to track this workout?

Thank you for the response HW. I use the heavy bag routine for cardio & abs only. (I have not boxed for a long time)
EXERCISE NAME SET #1
------------------------------------------------
STAIR STEP (ALT LEAD FOOT @ 1/2 STEPS & SET) 2 MIN
-------------------------------------------------
HEAVY BAG 2 MIN
-------------------------------------------------
MACHINE/ROPE CRUNCH @ 90 LB (1/2 REPS ALT SIDE & 1/2 TO FRONT) 24 REPS
-------------------------------------------------
The variables I track are: # of sets, time/reps per set, # of steps per set, weather conditions, & physical & mental state at time of work out.
Thanks Again

hw,
Yes, at this time I do 5 sets but plan on increasing until I am at ~8 sets. Will also keep increasing the bag / step time durations until I hit 3 min / circuit.
Thanks again
