what is activation level

after doing an excerise I double click on it and open the log. Under Pychology> there is a drop box labeld "Activation Level" what is this

ok, here goes, in Crosstrainer 5 in the psychology area, activation was a field with a range from 1-10 to indicate your level of activation for the activity you were participating in. Activation being your level of active preparedness. How does that sound?
