The last couple days i’ve had a lump in my throat so i havent been working out, i think i need to cheat eat and see how that helps.
Well this past week, a friend of mine and professional personal trainer and fitness model Tyler Sarry ran me through some of him workouts. I havent felt this soare in a long time. He quickly reminded me and put in check with all the little techniques that you can forget about when you stop training. Once i got over the pain and healed up i again felt great.
Another huge difference in the way i feel is from no longer eatting processed foods, like frozen dinners and frozen baked fries. My family is always on the go so normally these products are staples in our diet. Again, Tyler asked “what the hell is wrong with you-no wonder you feel like a@#!”. So i cut them all out and have been eatting more nutrient dense foods, such as salads, oats, and natural peanut butter. This has made all the difference in my attitude and my athletic performance.
I had a great weekend and i felt great. I have finally gotten around the curve for eatting right and though it took some work, i’m finally on the right path. I did leg workout last night that i’m going to be feeling for days and a shoulder workout over the weekend. Everything seems to be going good. However i doubt i will be able to be in good enough shape for my goal. Thats ok though because i am making progress thats for the better.
So i reached my goal of 180lbs, Now its time to start cutting the calories and the fat percentage. I’m on day 4 right now and all is going great. I feel good but i had forgotten how mean i become with a lack of calories, but i’m on my way.
During the long easter weekend I struggled to get back into my routine and get into the gym. I only made it into the gym once this weekend, but managed to play a full 3 games in a hockey tourney. So i guess that counts for something. I am now just beginning to return to myself and can truely get back to my workouts.
